Monday, Parramatta Stadium, 7pm

Are the Eels going to backup their shock win over Sydney
Roosters, or are they going to fall in a hole again, as they have
mostly done this season?
It's a matter for great debate. One thing is for sure, and that
is Parramatta have no shortage of motivation. They
are barely hanging on in the race for finals spots, and if
they lose here they will be gone for sure.
But the motivation to do well from week-to-week hasn't been enough
to spur them to any heights this season, so how can we be sure they
will rise to this occasion? We will have to wait and see.
The Eels have got enough going for them. They are playing at
home and their record against the Tigers is superb. They have won
the past seven clashes and the last time the Tigers beat them
was in 2004.
The Eels have tended to be too big for the Tigers and have made
their size advantage count. The Tigers have managed to get a few of
their bigger forwards back from injury recently, but now they have
lost prop Todd Payten to suspension. The Tigers are in form, with
three wins from their past four starts, and that should allow
them to approach this game with confidence, despite their record
against Parramatta. It could go either way.
