Monday, ANZ Stadium, 7pm
Referee: Steve Lyons
This game gives the Titans a great opportunity to improve on their poor away record. They have won just one and lost four on the road this season, but will start clear favourites against the Rabbitohs in Sydney. Both teams are coming off the bye and both teams won the week before their break. The Rabbitohs scored what was only their second win of the season when they came from 14-0 down early to beat the Warriors 35-28 at in Auckland, while the Titans registered a straight-forward, 18-0 win over a Storm side that was without 10 stars due to State of Origin commitments. The Titans were without a trio of Origin players Scott Prince, Anthony Laffranchi and Ashley Harrison.
Rabbitohs coach Jason Taylor made a number of changes to his side before the Warriors game, including the introduction of young halfback Chris Sandow, who went well in his debut. Now the coach has had some valuable time to further bed down those changes and after this weekend the Rabbitohs can look forward to the return of their big buy for this season, Craig Wing, who has not played since being injured in the opening round. So there should be a positive mood at the club at the moment.
LATE MAIL
Souths coach Jason Taylor insisted halfback Craig
Wing would not return against Gold Coast following his round-one
shoulder injury.
The Titans will travel to Sydney with 18, after Luke
Swain dropped off the bench.
