Intriguing clash between two teams that have developed a habit of winning at each other's home ground. The last six clashes have gone to the visiting team, including four to the Eels at Toyota Stadium. You have to go back to 2003 to find the last time the home team won and that was a crazy game that went to the Eels, 74-4. The Sharks have won three games straight and are the fifth-placed team in a bunch of five on 20 points at the top of the table. The Eels, after two wins in a row, are in ninth, outside of the top eight on points differential only.

The Eels have benefitted considerably from the return from injury of Krisnan Inu and the introduction of giant winger Tony Williams. Their three-quarter line is big and powerful and five-eighth Feleti Mateo is in devastating form with the ball in his hands. He led the team's destruction of the Tigers last weekend. But the Sharks keep getting the job done. They aren't spectacular, but they are very efficient and their key players are all in form. This should be a tight game that could be decided by one piece of brilliance from a Mateo or someone like Greg Bird from the Sharks.

Eels coach Michael Hagan said Mark Riddell (back) would likely play, adding Junior Paulo would probably drop off the Parramatta bench.
