Sunday, SFS, 3pm
Referee: Jason Robinson
The Roosters are getting the Sea Eagles at a bad time. The Roosters have lost two in a row - against Gold Coast and Canberra - and look shaky. The Sea Eagles have won seven in a row and have been powering through their work. Manly have lost five-eighth Jamie Lyon to a knee injury, but when he was forced off during last week's game against Parramatta they adjusted very well. They will miss him, for sure, but the very nature of the Sea Eagles at the moment is that if a key player does go down the rest of them lift to make up for that. Steve Menzies will do a good job at five-eighth. Manly have also lost prop Jason King to injury, but they have enough big men to cover.
We know Manly are going to be committed and determined. The key to this game lies with the Roosters and whether they can jolt themselves out of their current funk. They have got to sharpen up in attack and tighten up in defence. It won't take much of an adjustment, and if they do find their best form they will obviously be right in this match. But if they come in at only 70 or 80 per cent they can expect to lose.
