FORMER Bulldogs teammates Willie Mason and Sonny Bill Williams have something in common in Test week - both are targets for criticism by former Australian forward Ray Price.
On the eve of the second trans-Tasman clash between the pair, Price said neither player could be considered complete a footballer because he did not play 80 minutes.
"Sonny Bill is a good player, but he doesn't spend enough time on the paddock," said Price, who played 22 Tests and was nicknamed "Mr Perpetual Motion" because of his ability to keep going.
"Willie Mason could be a good player. [But] if we can get those bastards playing 80 minutes, then we'll see how good they are."
The Parramatta great had no doubt Williams could play 80 minutes if he wanted to, but as for Mason: "He plays 20 minutes a half, and gets a motza of money to do it He'll get better and better if he stays out on the field longer."
