FOR Melbourne, revenge is a dish best served with nine Origin stars returning for the second course. Ravaged by representative commitments when they took on St George Illawarra in round 10, the Storm will have their full complement in tonight's rematch at Olympic Park.

The Dragons took advantage of the inexperienced Storm line-up to record a 36-12 win in their first meeting, that victory part of a seven-game winning run which came to an end with last week's loss to Canberra.

Several of the Storm's Origin contingent admitted the loss was tough to take as they watched on, the pain made worse by what Melbourne players say was showboating by Dragons half Jamie Soward.

"They gave us a bit of a hiding last time we played them so hopefully we can have that scoreline fall our way this time," Storm captain Cam Smith said. "We're not going to take them lightly, they always play strongly against us."

On top of the loss to the Raiders, it's been a tough week off the field for the Dragons with skipper Mark Gasnier announcing he would be leaving but Smith believes the news may galvanise the Dragons.

"They've been highly rated over the past two years and a couple of times have been premiership favourites but always fell short so if they've ever needed a reason to go all the way they've certainly got one now," he said.

The Dragons are sixth on the ladder, four points behind second-placed Melbourne. Dragons prop Jason Ryles, who will play his 150th NRL match tonight, believes the clash will determine whether his side is a premiership contender.

"It's taken a while but it's going to be a tough game and a real test for us," Ryles said.
