MELBOURNE Storm forward Sika Manu believes his younger teammates have gained the experience and more importantly confidence to cause a boilover tomorrow and embarrass Parramatta on the Eels' home territory.

The premiers will again head north with a dramatically understrength team as it has nine players in origin camps for next Wednesday's decider.

The Storm has lost to St George Illawarra (36-12) and Gold Coast (18-0) on the previous occasions it has had to field such weakened teams through the origin period.

But the 21-year-old Manu, who has been part of the Storm first grade squad for the past two seasons, said he had noticed a change in attitude among the cluster of under-20s team members who would fill in for the stars tomorrow.

"All the boys have got a lot of confidence over these last (couple) of games," Manu said.

"During the week they've been training well and been talking more than they usually (do). They started to get confident after the first game (against the Dragons)."

Meanwhile, Manu said he had yet to see the revised offer tabled by the Storm on Thursday night, but expected to discuss the offer with his manager, Chris Orr, over the weekend.

Manu, who has been waiting in line as the Storm worked its way through the series of players coming off contact, has firm offers from two other National Rugby League clubs, but said he would like to stay at the Storm.

"I think it will be best for me to stay," he said.

Orr said the Storm's new offer had brought it within the ball park of the rival bidders.

However, he said Manu had been affected by the uncertainty surrounding his future.

"At the end of the day it has taken quite a long time for this offer to eventuate and I think that's taken it's toll on Sika," Orr said.

* Queensland went on full alert for an origin aerial assault by the NRL's most lethal halves, Mitchell Pearce and Braith Anasta, on Wednesday night.

"They've both got great kicking games and they (NSW) lacked a bit of that in game two and we'll have our work cut out for us," said Maroons five-eighth Johnathan Thurston, who found some much needed confidence in Queensland's 30-0 second game win.

"They've got more options with Braith and Mitch there and I definitely think they'll use that."
