The party began about 7pm yesterday - shortly after Manly secured their 40 point win over the Storm.

The only uncertainty today at Manly is when the party will end, with players and fans still going strong as the morning passed today.

The team held a rooftop celebration at the Bella Vista Apartment Complex at North Steyne.

At 11.30am a group of players were posing and yelling at passers-by, most of whom were wearing the team's colours.

At The Steyne Hotel, fan Dave Lloyd and his mate David Harris were kicking off a second day of partying in true Manly form.

"We're about to have a thousand beers," Mr Harris said.

Mr Lloyd lives in Melbourne even though he still describes himself as a Manly local and said he is still undecided as to whether he would turn up to his flight back to Melbourne tomorrow morning.

"You've got to soak these things up," he said, "especially after last year's result. It makes it a lot sweeter. I can't wait to return to rub it in to everyone and I'm not going to take my jersey off."

The Manly Jazz Festival taking place on The Corso placed a distant second to the events of last night, judging by the crowd there this morning.

Down from Ipswich in Queensland, eight Manly supporters from the West End Rugby League club were wearing their colours proudly.

"Queenslanders love Manly," one member Anthony Breeze said.

"It's the maroon. We can't get past the maroon."
